John S. Rollins
President/CEO
President/CEO of MOTIV8U of North Central Florida, Inc., John S. Rollins, brings to the table a wealth of experience in organizing, developing, and facilitating multi-faceted educational training programs. He is a retiree from the City of Gainesville where he invested over 25 years in various capacities. His last position prior to retirement was the Learning & Development Manager in the Human Resources Department. Some of his areas of expertise include leadership, management and supervisory development, customer service, conflict resolution, career progression, stress management, interpersonal and communication skills, and staff development. John discovered that all successful individuals, regardless of their level of responsibility, possessed a similar set of skills. He now devotes his time and effort to sharing those success skills with others.

Gloria Pringle Ashley
Executive Director
Gloria Pringle Ashley pours into others. She has volunteered time at the Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army, and St. Frances House. She organized a group of Student Ambassadors to join with community partners to March for Anti-Bully week. In 2020 she and her 3rd daughter fed several hundred people who lost employment due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Gloria has written several inspirational journals and continues to minister at various places throughout the nation. In her spare time, she enjoys performing in plays, hanging out with her family (husband John and five daughters Kayla, Imari, Lauren, Re’na, and Lailah), reading and singing, and traveling. Chronda Nicholas

Chronda L. Nicholas
Current Executive board member of MOTIV8U of North Central Florida, Inc. and Co-chair of the
Fundraising Committee.
Chronda is a retiree with the Nursing Administration of the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans
Administration where she spent several years implementing and monitoring the best practice policies
and procedures in Veteran’s healthcare. Her work involved assisting the nursing administration in
evaluating, monitoring, and implementing best practice of care for the patients that they served. Her
care for people exceeded her employment responsibilities. Chronda has spent a great part of her life
devoted to caring for children in her church and the community. She has adopted children into her
family and provided them with love, attention, and resources they needed to thrive.
Her organizational memberships include Eastside Friends of Music, ESSA, Alachua County PTA, Mount
Carmel Baptist Church Youth Department Director, 1000 Voices of North Central Florida, and the
American Cancer Society.
Chronda’s ultimate aspiration is to encourage and assist children to use the full potential by providing a
platform in which they will recognize their own potential and move forward to achieve their ultimate
goals.
Aaron Rollins
Executive Board
Aaron "Buck" Rollins is the Pastor of Bethel Christian Church and a licensed Financial Advisor in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, and Maryland. He served as a Deacon and armor bearer for many years in the Church of God by Faith organization abroad and locally at New Beginnings COGBF. He was then led by the Spirit to help founding pastor Walter Patrick at Bethel Christian Church, where he was years later appointed as the head pastor. When he is not serving the community and parsonage as Pastor, he is helping to protect families and their wealth by providing financial, estate, and tax planning in the North Central Florida area. Buck currently resides in Jonesville, Florida with his wife, Renee. He is the father of four children; Erin, Ron, Travis, and Antwan. He is also enjoying his first, of many grandkids, Makail.
Will Halvosa
Executive Board
Will Halvosa is a retired Captain from the Gainesville Police Department after 30 years and currently the DMC (Disproportionate Minority Contact) Coordinator of that agency. A graduate from the University of Florida in Criminal Justice and certified in Racial and Ethnic Disparity through Georgetown University. Will also instructs statewide on DMC, R.E.D., Implicit Bias, and Procedural Justice through Fox Valley Technical College. Most of his career was spent in Detectives, investigating major cases, while also a past President of the Gainesville Police Department’s PBA. While semi-retired, Will stays involved in the Community through advocacy and is currently a Board member of the following organizations; Partnership for Strong Families, Child Advocacy Center, MOTIV8U, and YouthBuild. Married to Rosa with 2 children and 2 step children and 1 grandbaby.
LaToya L Artis
Executive Board
LaToya L Artis is a Recreation Program Supervisor of Senior and Therapeutic programming with the City of Ocala Where Ms., Artis, supervises four wonderful women in developing and implementing leisure education for citizens of Marion County. As a Recreation Program Supervisor, Ms Artis is also responsible for adapting recreation programs to meet the needs of individuals, children, and the community. Ms. Artis works with administration to ensure all recreation activities are balanced, coordinated, and integrated with special services.
Ms Artis has a Bachelor's degree in physical education and health education, starting her career off 21 years ago as an adapted Physical Education Teacher in an alternative school in Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville, NC. After four great years of teaching, Ms. Artis started working with her local health department and March of Dimes (remotely) as a Nutrition Health Education/Regional Coordinator, education the community members on the benefits of good nutrition and how folic acid could help prevent current types of birth defects of the spinal cord. This statewide campaign with March of Dimes went on to decrease rates of neural tube defect in the state of NC by 70%. Ms Artis went on to work as a caseworker, helping citizens of Cumberland County access resources to include, but not limited to Medicaid and Nutrition benefits.
Finally, Ms. Artis worked as a Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor for five years also adapting recreation programs for special need individuals in Cumberland County, working with local group homes, residential homes, and agencies ensuring all have access to leisure education.
When Ms. Artis is not taking graduate classes obtaining her Master's of Education in workforce development, she enjoys jogging, crafting, and being a mother to three wonderful children ranging in ages of 20-13 years old.
